Looking to cool off from that dry, hot California heat? The California Oaks Sports Park Pool is will be opening in mid-May. Located in the heart of Murrieta (at the corner of California Oaks Road and Lincoln Avenue), the City pool has been open to the public for over 25 years, yet many in the community do not know about all the different programs and activities it has to offer.
Programs include the American Red Cross
Learn-to-Swim courses (group swim lessons), Lap Swim, Water Exercise, Public
Swim, and Private Swim Lessons.
Only U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets will be allowed in the pool during open swim. Patrons must provide their own properly fitting jacket. In addition any swimmer wearing a life jacket must be accompanied in the pool by their parent/guardian at all times and remain within arm’s reach. One adult may attend to a maximum of two non-swimmers. If swimmers do not have a Coast Guard approved life jacket, they can rent one from the pool staff for the day.
