City of Murrieta Building Inspection Request Confirmation

  3. Please consider this email as your inspection request confirmation.   Your inspection will be scheduled for the next business day. This is an auto-generated confirmation and on rare occasions, staff from the Building Department may respond to your request if more information is needed to schedule or to re-schedule your inspection, as necessary.

    Inspections are usually performed Monday through Thursday and every other working Friday. 

    When the City of Murrieta is closed due to holidays, we do not conduct inspections.  If your inspection request was submitted before the deadline, your inspection will be scheduled on the next business day following the holiday. If your inspection request was submitted after the deadline, your inspection will be scheduled on the 2nd business day following the holiday. We post closed Holiday’s on our webpage at: www.murrietaca.gov/165/inspections

    All inspection requests must be submitted to the City Building Department by 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and by 4:00 pm on alternating working Fridays for inspections on the next working business day. 

    Please also know that due to high inspection requests your inspection maybe postponed an extra business day and all requests will be taken in the order in which they are received. In this event, you will be notified in a separate email by a staff member.

    All scheduled inspections may be confirmed on the day of the requested inspection by calling the Building Department between 7:30 am and 8:30 am at 951-461-6062.
