[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Hearing - Wednesday, October 11, 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission of the City of Murrieta on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562, to consider the following matter:

Conditional Use Permit (CUP-2023-2787) (Pawtriotic Pet Hotel): The project is a Conditional Use Permit to operate an approximately 6,785 square foot animal boarding, training, and day care facility in an existing commercial retail suite a part of a larger shopping center (Antelope Square) located at 33040 Antelope Rd. Suite 113, (APN 388-010-033).

Environmental Determination:  The Project has been determined to be exempt from CEQA. The project is exempt under CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 – Existing Facilities. 

Any person may either submit written comments to the Planning Commission before the hearing or may appear and be heard before the Planning Commission at the time of the hearing.  If you challenge the City’s action on this project in court you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to the public hearing.  The environmental finding, along with the proposed project application, may be reviewed at the Planning Division counter, Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you should have any questions on the project, please contact the staff Assistant Planner, Nicholas Thiessen, who can be reached via e-mail at: [email protected] or by phone at (951) 461-6414.
