NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Murrieta will conduct a public hearing per Elections Code Section 21607.1 on August 15, 2023, at 6:45 p.m. at City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. During the public hearing, the City Council will introduce an Ordinance regarding the City Council voting district boundaries relating to the Murrieta Hills Specific Plan Annexation. Pursuant to Elections Code Sections 21605.3 and 21603(a), the recommended action is to annex the area into City Council District 1 due to the vacancy of the land and the location of the development territory.
All interested persons are invited to attend said public hearing and express opinions and comments relating to this matter. Written comments concerning this matter may be submitted to the City Clerk at 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562, and by email at [email protected]. Written comments may also be submitted at the public hearing.
If you challenge the City’s action on this project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to the public hearing.
