Community Clean Up Day for Large Items
Are you ready to get rid of those old appliances, bundled green waste, furniture or electronics? Want to avoid dump fees? Community Clean Up Day on October 19, 2019, 8 a.m. to noon at Kalmia and 2nd Streets. Be prepared to unload your own items and bring a picture ID or utility bill.
Document Shredding Event
Also on October 19, the City, in conjunction with Waste Management, is hosting a free Document On-Site Shredding Event from 8-11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. This is a great way to avoid identity theft without investing in a home shredder. Residents, with proof of residency, may bring up to five banker-sized boxes at one time, to the City Hall Parking Lot.
Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or standard paper clips). Residents may also bring cds and credit cards to dispose of. No businesses please. For more information on this event call (951) 461-6013.
Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off
Wondering what to do with old paint, automotive and garden products? How about used oil, medications or sharps?
