CITY OF MURRIETA

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Murrieta on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 6:00 pm or a time soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562.

 

The public hearing relates to the adoption of the proposed Fiscal Year 2022/23 to 2026/27 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for the City of Murrieta.  The proposed new CIP locations include: 

  • CIP 10041 Town Square Park Amphitheater Parking Lots: Project is located next to Town Square Park located in the vicinity of 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
  • CIP 10043 City Hall Improvements Project: Project is located in the City Hall at 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
  • CIP 13044 Pedestrian Safety Enhancements: Project is located at various locations citywide in Murrieta, CA 92562 and 92563.
  • CIP 21016 Police Department Building Exterior PaintProject is located in the Murrieta Police Department Building located at 2 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
  • CIP 21023 Library Building – Roof Project: Project is located at the Murrieta Public Library located at 8 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
  • CIP 21024 Library Building-HVAC Controls Project: Project is located at the Murrieta Public Library located at 8 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
  • CIP 21025 Library Building-Soundproof Walls Project: Project is located at the Murrieta Public Library located at 8 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
  • CIP 21026 Library Building-Rain Drainage Mitigation: Project is located at the Murrieta Public Library located at 8 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
  • CIP 21027 Library Building-Storytime Room: Project is located at the Murrieta Public Library located at 8 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562
  • CIP 22028 Parks and Recreation Master Plan: Project is located citywide for future parks and recreation related programming in Murrieta, California
  • CIP 22029 Alta Murrieta Park Tot Lot Rehabilitation: Project is located at the Alta Murrieta Park located at 39775 Alta Murrieta Drive, Murrieta, CA 92563
  • CIP 22030 Eastgate Park Tot Lot Rehabilitation: Project is located at the Eastgate Park located at 25200 Whitewood Road, Murrieta, CA 92563
  • CIP 22031 Rancho Acacia Park Tot Lot Rehabilitation: Project is located at the Rancho Park located at 39785 Avenida Palizada, Murrieta, CA 92563 
  • CIP 22032 Sycamore Park Tot Lot Rehabilitation: Project is located at the Sycamore Park located at 23555 Madison Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562 
  • CIP 22033 California Oaks Sports Park Fencing: Project is located at the California Oaks Sports Park located at 40600 California Oaks Road, Murrieta, CA 92562 
  • CIP 13042 Max Gillis Improvement Project: Project is located at Max Gillis Boulevard and Winchester Road, Murrieta, CA 92563
  • CIP 13043 Recycled Water Retrofit Project-Design: Project is various locations citywide in Murrieta, CA 92562 and 92563
  • CIP 13045 Pedestrian Safety Enhancements: Project is located at various locations citywide in Murrieta, CA 92562 and 92563.
  • CIP 21029 Murrieta Innovation Center Improvements ProjectProject is located in the Murrieta Innovation Center Building located at 26442 Beckman Court, Murrieta, CA 92562

 

Existing CIP project locations can be found in the proposed CIP. The CIP will be made available for inspection at the City Clerk’s Department (City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta) no later than July 22, 2022, during normal business hours and also on the City of Murrieta’s website https://www.murrietaca.gov/169/Budgets.

 

Any interested person may either submit written comments to the City Council before the hearing or may appear and be heard before the City Council at the time of the hearing. Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk at 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562 and by email at [email protected]. Written comments may also be submitted at the public hearing. If you challenge the City’s action on this amendment in court you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council prior to the public hearing.
