[ARCHIVED] Traffic Update: Kaiser Permanente Murrieta Medical Offices

COVID Testing Traffic Congestion

Teams from the Murrieta Police Department and City of Murrieta Public Works are working with Kaiser Permanente to address traffic issues created from a high demand for COVID-19 testing at their location on Keller Road. The City of Murrieta is working to keep this area safe for those being tested and those driving in the area.

A temporary 3-way stop sign at Antelope Road and Mapleton Avenue was installed to address visibility issues at that intersection. In addition, the traffic signal at Antelope and Keller roads has been set to flashing/yield mode in order to slow down vehicles driving on Antelope Road. The southbound left-turn lane on Antelope Road will be coned off for eastbound Keller with cones.

The City is also placing information signs in the area to warn drivers of possible upcoming traffic congestion. Murrieta Police Department will continue to patrol the area and monitor traffic. This demand will likely continue for the upcoming weeks. The City appreciates everyone’s patience and caution. Let’s stay #ConnectedBySafety in the new year.
