NOTICE OF UNSCHEDULED CITY COUNCIL VACANCY, DISTRICT 5
AND
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Murrieta is seeking applications to fill an unscheduled vacancy on the City Council, District 5 through an appointment process.
The candidate appointed to fill the vacant seat will serve the unexpired term as the Council Member representing District 5 through December 2022.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Resident of Murrieta City Council District 5 – to check your District contact the City Clerk’s Office at (951) 461-6031
- Registered Voter of the City of Murrieta, District 5
- At least 18 years of age
- U.S. Citizen
Interested applicants may obtain information and forms at the City Clerk’s Office (951) 461-6031, via email [email protected] or in person at 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562. Applications are also available online at https://www.murrietaca.gov/1164/2021-City-Council-District-5-Vacancy.
The application period opens on September 27, 2021 and closes on October 18, 2021 at 5:30 P.M., applications will be accepted online, via email and in-person.
Submissions received after the deadline will not be accepted.
