NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Directors of the Murrieta Community Services District in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562, on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 6:00 PM relative to the annual levy and collection of rates and charges on land within the Murrieta Community Services District. The levy is to pay the operation, maintenance, and services the District is authorized to provide including street lighting, landscaping, flood and drainage control, park and open space maintenance, street sweeping and all appurtenant services and operations related thereto.
The boundaries of the District are the incorporated City Limits of the City of Murrieta, within the County of Riverside, State of California. The Boundary Map and the zones therein are on file with the Clerk of the Board.
This hearing is scheduled pursuant to Resolution No. CSD 21-257 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MURRIETA COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT, DECLARING INTENT TO LEVY ANNUAL RATES AND CHARGES FOR CERTAIN SERVICES WITHIN THE MURRIETA COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT, FISCAL YEAR 2021/2022
Any person may submit written comments to the City Clerk before the hearing or may appear and be heard in support of, or in opposition to, the matter before the Board at the time of the hearing. If you challenge the levy or zones within the District in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else rose at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Board at, or prior to, the public hearing.
