[ARCHIVED] City Hall is Now Open to the Public

City Hall Reopening homepage3

City Hall will open its doors to the public on Monday, April 5, 2021. We are happy to see many of you face-to-face finally, but for a while, it will have to be mask-to-mask as we work to provide a safe environment for all visitors and staff. We will conduct a quick COVID screen for all who enter the building. This includes a temp check and a brief questionnaire. Public Works and Development Services counters will be fully open with no appointments required. City Hall public hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-Th and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m alternate Fridays. See the homepage calendar for Friday closure dates. The City Police and Fire Department will also open their public lobbies on Monday, April 5.

Close behind are the Murrieta Library and Senior Center, both of which will open on Monday, April 12, 2021, with modified hours and programming. The Library, which is currently installing self-service Kiosks, will begin by opening indoors on Mondays and Wednesdays (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Saturdays (noon to 4 p.m.). On Tuesday and Thursday, the Library will host its Grab and Go services from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. without indoor operations. After two weeks, the Library will expand its indoor hours.

The Community Center is currently open for some pre-registered programming and will expand its offerings and hours after April 12, 2021.

The April 6, 2021, City Council Meeting will continue in its virtual format.

Watch this page and our social media platforms for additional information as we finalize re-opening details.
