PUBLIC NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION


Notice is hereby given that the Murrieta City Council adopted the following Ordinance at a Regular Meeting on February 2, 2021, commencing at 6:00 p.m. Pursuant to Governor Gavin Newsom’s executive order N-29-20 the meeting was held as a teleconference meeting entitled: 

 

ORDINANCE NO. 563-21

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MURRIETA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 8.28 OF THE MURRIETA MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCLUDE REGULATIONS FOR SOLID WASTE, ORGANIC WASTE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTION. This ordinance will further the City’s efforts to comply with AB 1826 as it relates to businesses and multi-family properties within the city.

The vote was:  

 

AYES:             Council Member DeForest, Council Member Ingram, Council Member Stone, Mayor Pro Tem White, Mayor Vinton

NOES:            None

ABSENT:        None

 

The above Ordinance was introduced at a Regular Meeting on January 19, 2021, and adopted at a Regular Meeting held on February 2, 2021. Said Ordinance is on file in the office of the City Clerk at 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA  92562, and may be viewed on the City website at www.MurrietaCA.gov.
