RE: 10-Day Notice of Pending Decision to Approve Extension of Time 2020-2152 for Development Plan 2017-1370
Dear Property Owner/Resident:
The City of Murrieta Planning Division is currently reviewing an application for a three-year extension of time to Development Plan 2017-1370, Conditional Use Permit 2017-1442, and Conditional Use Permit 2018-1568. The project was originally approved on June 27, 2018, which was a request to develop, over three phases, a 518,817 square foot shopping center totaling 31 buildings and associated on and off-site improvements. The 49.7-acre site is located on the northwest corner of Winchester Road and future Clinton Keith Road, bounded by Max Gillis Boulevard to the north. Conditional Use Permit 2017-1442 is requesting outdoor display/sales and equipment rental. Conditional Use Permit 2018-1568 is requesting the operation of a car wash associated with a gas station. Assessor’s Parcel No.: 963-060-065 and -066 and 963-450-001 through -019.
The purpose of this letter is to advise you that Planning Division staff is recommending, to the City Planner, approval of the proposed extension of time on July 6, 2020, following this 10-day public review and comment period. The City Planner will consider all comments before a decision is made on the request for extension of time. You are welcome to review the project plan(s) and information at the Planning Division office in City Hall, 1 Town Square, or you may call the number below for more information.
The City Planner’s decision on the proposed project will be made on July 6, 2020. This decision will be final unless it is appealed to the Planning Commission within 10 days as provided for by the City of Murrieta Development Code Chapter 16.78 Appeals. An appeal along with the application fees must be received by the Planning Division office no later than July 16, 2020, by 4:30 PM.
