[ARCHIVED] Citizens Academy Looks Inside City Hall

Citizens Academy webnews

We’re kicking off a new City Hall Citizen’s Academy this month. The Academy runs for eight consecutive weeks beginning March 7, 2020, with a Saturday introduction and tour of City facilities and development sites. It continues on Thursday nights through April 16, 2020. Throughout the Academy, you will hear from various City departments, learning what they do, and how that work is making an impact in our community. This is a great opportunity to get an inside view of how your City runs.

There is no cost to participate, but space is limited. Priority will be given to City of Murrieta Residents followed by those who have a business in the City limits.

Citizens Academy graduates will receive a certificate and special recognition at a City Council meeting. Those who complete all three Academies (City Hall, Fire and Police) will become City Ambassadors. To register or for more information, please email lquinteros@murrietaca.gov in the City Clerk’s office.
