We have spent some time this past year really trying to understand and leverage who we are as a City and a community. It started with comprehensive brand development, where we looked to residents and businesses to help define what makes us special. We learned that family, community, growth and legacy along with the City’s record for safety, its exceptional schools, vibrant and growing business community and central Southern California location were central to our identity. The resulting brand included a new logo and taglines: connected by community, connected by business, connected by well-being.
More recently we turned to our employees to help us define and develop the City of Murrieta’s organizational values. Through a series of surveys and interactive meetings, we explored what matters most to our organization and what we aspire to be as we serve the Murrieta community. We will continue to proactively weave the values you see below into all we do. I see these values reflected every day in the actions of our employees. We hope that you recognize them too.
