[ARCHIVED] NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission of the City of Murrieta on February 26, 2020, at 6:00 PM at City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562, to consider the following matter:

GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT (GPA) 2018-1762, ZONE CHANGE (ZC) 2018-1763, AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN (DP) 2018-1761:  The applicant, MHS 98, is proposing changing the General Plan land use designation on approximately 8.37 gross, 7.8 net acres of the proposed Project site from Commercial, Single Family to Multi-Family Residential, changing the Zoning designation on approximately 8.37 gross, 7.8 net acres of the proposed Project site from Neighborhood Commercial (NC), Single Family 1 (SF-1) to Multi-Family Residential 3 (MF-3), 30 dwelling units per acre, and to construct and establish a Multi-Family complex, including density bonus, consisting of 234 residential units within eight detached buildings located at Southeast corner of Date Street and Delhaven Street, Assessor’s Parcel No.: 913-210-005-007, 010-013, 033-035 and portions of 913-210-032.  Environmental Determination:  CEQA Guidelines Section 15074 – Mitigated Negative Declaration.

Any person may either submit written comments to the Planning Commission before the hearing or may appear and be heard before the Planning Commission at the time of the hearing.  State law provides that if you challenge the City’s action on this project in court you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to the public hearing.  The proposed project application plans and other information may be reviewed at the Planning Division offices at City Hall Monday – Thursday from 7:30 - 5:00 p.m. and every other Friday from 8:30-4:00 p.m.
