COURTESY NOTIFICATION IS HEREBY GIVEN that a workshop presentation will be held before the City Council of the City of Murrieta on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 3:45 p.m. (previously advertised for 4:30 p.m.) at City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562, to consider the following matter:

SHORT-TERM VACATION RENTAL WORKSHOP: A presentation by staff on the background and recent growth of Short-Term Vacation Rentals; how other jurisdictions within Riverside County are regulating this type of use; a discussion of software applications that are utilized in municipalities; and an overview of potential next steps.  

Environmental Determination: The workshop presentation to discuss short-term vacation rentals is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Any subsequent actions will be evaluated pursuant to CEQA Guidelines.

Any person may either submit written comments to the City Council before the workshop or may appear and be heard before the City Council at the time of the workshop.
