Report a Tree Maintenance Concern
Murrieta has a large population of trees consisting of magnificent native and non-native species on public and private properties. The City recognizes that trees are one of its greatest natural resources. Trees are a source of shade, air conditioning, and other environmental benefits providing quality of life and economic benefits to the community, residents, and businesses.
Tree Management Program
Murrieta's tree management program is aimed at sustaining trees and requires careful planning and vigilant maintenance. Trees are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are maintained in a systematic order throughout the city. Please note that the City does not trim or remove trees for views.
