Parks Maintenance is committed to making our City parks and landscape clean and attractive places to visit; this division oversees a comprehensive citywide program ranging from lawn mowing to tree maintenance. The main focus of the division is the timely upkeep of the dozens of sites and facilities under the Department's care and custody. In addition to the basic tasks of park maintenance, trash removal, field lining, and grass cutting, the Parks Maintenance is also responsible for the city's urban forest, the Department's horticulture programs, building and equipment repairs, and many other sites maintained as part of the city's beautification program.
