Meetings
Meetings are currently held on the first Tuesday of each month. If interested in attending, please contact staff to confirm meeting space and time.
Duties & Membership Requirements
The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is proud to represent the youth of Murrieta. YAC members are required to attend monthly meetings that include leadership skills training, social gatherings, and youth event planning. The YAC is responsible for offering numerous events throughout the year geared to their peers.
One YAC representative also serves on the Parks and Recreation Commission in order for the youth of Murrieta to have representation regarding the services this department offers.
Volunteers
The City of Murrieta Community Service Department (CSD) is looking for a few great people to help volunteer for numerous city-wide events!
Duties of volunteering may include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with event set-up
- Interacting with the public
- Handing out information
- Helping create a positive atmosphere
- Running game booths
- Assisting with clean-up
- Having a great time
