Food & Yard Waste Collection

Green Yard Waste ContainerWeekly collection begins at 6 a.m. (Monday through Friday). Check the route map (PDF) for your collection day. The green cart is for your food and yard waste only. Food waste includes fish, meats, dairy, eggs, baked goods, fruits, and vegetables. Yard waste is simply defined as what grows in the yard. Trimmings should be cut up to increase the amount of waste that can fit in the container.
