The Detective Bureau's Juvenile Investigations Unit investigates crimes committed by and against the juveniles of our community. The unit works as a resource for general detectives and has close ties with the Murrieta Valley Unified School District. The unit is responsible for running several youth programs within the community and staff school resource officers at our local school sites.
The Juvenile Investigations Unit is staffed by one Sergeant, one Corporal and six Officers who are primarily assigned to Murrieta Valley Unified Schools as School Resource Officers.
