Thank you to all the residents who registered their home or block for this year's Holiday Home Decorating Contest.
We now need the public's help to vote for this year's best and brightest displays. Please download a map of the entries by going to the link below. Then, pack up family and friends to go out and judge the displays. There are six total categories including one for best block. At the end of the survey (there's a link below), there's a slot to choose up to four honorable mentions.
For Best Block, you're looking for a good majority of the homes to be participating.
For Best Use of Lights, think Clark Griswold in A Christmas Vacation…something where you might need to wear sunglasses even at night.
For Most Creative, you're looking for an entry that really doesn't follow the norm or reference traditional themes, but makes you stop and say, “Wow!”
For Holiday Spirit, consider the one that seems to have traditional elements or goes with the true meaning of the season.
For Most Festive, consider the one that makes you laugh out loud and has a jolly, cheery, and good-humored theme to it.
For Best Overall, this is what you believe to be #1 – something that is truly imaginative, inspired, and innovative.
