To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.
Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

The City’s General Plan 2035 was adopted in 2011 and provides a vision for the development of the City for a 25 year period. The first public workshop (workshop #1) for the Project was held at the Multi-Purpose Room, Vista Murrieta High School on November 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. and provided information on key topics including:
Workshop #1 provided opportunities for members of the public to speak with the Project Team and to provide input on the various key topics. Approximately 60 individuals attended workshop #1 and a great deal of feedback was received! The survey for workshop #1 can still be taken through December 7, 2018 by clicking here. Hard copies of the survey were provided at workshop #1 and will also be available at our pop-up tent at the Festival of Trees on Saturday, December 1, 2018! The pop-up event will be taking place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Town Square Park in Murrieta.
