To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.
Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.
For more information on this event, please call (951) 461-6013.
We need your help to judge this year's entries for the 2017 Holiday Home Decorating Contest. Please download the attached map below under "View PDF," set a course, and start judging. Visit the link below to enter your choices:
There are six categories that allow up to one choice for each and a final Honorable Mention category that will allow up to four choices.
For Best Block, you're looking for a good majority of the homes to be participating.
For Best Use of Lights, think Clark Griswold in A Christmas Vacation…something where you might need to wear sunglasses even at night.
For Most Creative, you're looking for an entry that really doesn't follow the norm or reference traditional themes, but makes you stope and say, “Wow!”
For Holiday Spirit, consider the one that seems to have traditional elements or goes with the true meaning of the season.
For Most Festive, consider the one that makes you laugh out loud and has a jolly, cheery, and good-humored theme to it.
For Best Overall, this is what you believe is #1 – something that is truly imaginative, inspired, and innovative.
Please call the Community Services District at (951) 304-PARK with any questions. Judging closes Monday, December 18!
