Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Murrieta's Festival of Trees and the Hometown Holiday Childrens Parade

The Hometown Holiday Childrens Parade is a quaint, non-motorized parade which boasts entries from many youth groups, organizations and schools. Of course, Santa will be in it as well. (To enter the parade, click here The parade route comes down B street, leading into Town Square Park. Parade step off is at 5 p.m.

Please join us for an evening of fun at the Festival of Trees. This event is at Town Square Park and includes photos with Santa, an island-style performance with Moana, vendors and carriage rides! The City tree will be lit around 6:30 p.m. Also, 50 full-size, decorated and themed trees will line the park. Come join us for some family fun!
