Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Actor Dean Norris, of 'Breaking Bad', Opens Performing Arts Center in Murrieta

MURRIETA- Actor Dean Norris, of 'Breaking Bad', plans to open the Norris Performing Arts Center or N-PAC this month in Murrieta. N-PAC will offer classes in dance, acting, digital arts, creative writing, and more. In addition, the 11,000- square-foot facility will hold workshops with professionals from the industry. 

Norris will be actively involved in the center, teaching a master class on acting techniques, on Sunday Aug. 13. Some of the other workshops themes include commercial auditions, film, television acting and more.

“The City of Murrieta, the Murrieta school district and the city leaders have been incredibly welcoming and helpful to us, and we are honored to help promote arts education in our community,” Norris told MyValleyNews.

Norris was first introduced to the arts as a teenager in high school and wants to ensure children in Murrieta and Temecula have the same opportunity to be inspired. 

Norris starred as the brother-in-law Hank on the hit show “Breaking Bad”. Among his many other projects, he currently stars in the TNT drama-comedy “Claws” and you can watch him and Bruce Willis in the upcoming film “Death Wish”.
