Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Acrylic Painting for Adults at the Murrieta Library

MURRIETA, CA – Artist and instructor Angela Koenig will demonstrate the basics of acrylic painting on Tuesday, April 11 at 4:00 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room.

Ms. Koenig, who has had several gallery and museum exhibitions, has been an artist for over 20 years and has studied with several globally renowned artists from Europe and Asia. She works with landscapes, portraiture and character studies extensively. For this workshop, all materials will be provided, templates will be incorporated, and every participant will go home with a complete painting of their own creation. Space is limited to 20 adults. Free passes will be handed out 30 minutes before the workshop in the Library’s foyer.
