New Film Club Continues at the Murrieta Library

MURRIETA, CA – The Murrieta Public Library’s new film club meets for the second time on Tuesday, March 28, at 6:00 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room.

March’s film pick is “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?", the 1962 psychological thriller-horror film starring the legendary stars and rivals, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. The film and its stars are the subject of the acclaimed series “Feud: Bette and Joan”, currently airing on F/X on Sunday nights at 7:00 p.m. You can witness the two acrimonious actresses in all their seething, venomous glory in this campy, yet Oscar-nominated film, which twists and turns before arriving at its shocking finale.

The Library’s I.F.C. Film Club, as its acronym suggests, focuses on independent, foreign and classic movies, and will meet the fourth Tuesday of every month to discuss the films. Participants can check out DVD copies at the Adult Reference Desk before the meetings, if available. This is a great chance to see some great movies, meet other people in your community and participate in lively conversations.

This event is free and open to public. The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street). For more information about the program call (951) 304-BOOK (2665) or visit the Library’s web page at www.murrietalibrary.info.
