MURRIETA, CA – The City of Murrieta is expecting to draw large crowds to watch the 2017 Tour de Murrieta, scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 10th, 11th and 12th. Several streets will be closed to accommodate the bike race and the crowds, resulting in the necessary closure of the Murrieta Public Library on Saturday, March 11th.
In anticipation of the closure, no library materials will be due on March 11th. Since the Library will be inaccessible, all programs and other services will be postponed. Library users are reminded that while the Murrieta Library will be closed for the one day, books, DVDs, CDs and other materials can be renewed beforehand at the Library or via the Library’s web page where library patrons can view their personal accounts and access a variety of free resources that are always available for research. The Library will resume normal operating hours beginning Monday, March 13th, 2017.
The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street). For more information call (951) 304-BOOK (2665) or visit the Library’s web page at www.murrietalibrary.info.
