To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.
Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

MURRIETA, CA – Learn about Murrieta history and have fun doing it! Participants ages 14 and over are invited to pick up a Scavenger Hunt History Question Sheet beginning Thursday, December 1st. The goal of the “Hunt” is to promote Murrieta’s history and to highlight the historic collections in the Library’s Heritage Room. All guidelines are provided on the Question Sheets and they must be turned in by Saturday, December 17th.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn some fun facts and trivia about your community. The top winner will receive a $50.00 Amazon gift card. (Opportunity Drawing in case of a tie.) All other participants will be entered into a drawing for a $25.00 Amazon gift card. Winners will be contacted on December 19th.
