Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Murrieta business community is always growing!

The 4-story Hampton Inn by Hilton is well under construction on Hancock and has indicated that they expect to open in the late Fall/early Winter.

A new venture capital fund, Murrieta-based Forentis Fund, has opened  its offices at the Murrieta Innovation Center.  The $50 Million fund is focused on bringing personalized medical solutions to the market.  Forentis raised $7.5 Million for Blueprint Bio, the developer of biomarker technology.  Blueprint Bio has offices are the Murrieta Innovation Center as well as at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. 

Care Directives, a medical IT company, has become an affiliated member of the Murrieta Innovation Center.  Care Directives focuses on making Physicians Orders on Life Sustaining Treatment available to professional healthcare providers electronically.

Golden Corral is under construction on Murrieta Hot Springs Road adjacent to the new Dunkin Donuts

Marshall’s is under construction in the former Ralph’s on Murrieta Hot Springs Road.

The regional director of the US Small Business Administration recently visited Murrieta to discuss  how the City and SBA could forge an even stronger relationship.
