Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Library Offers Programs for Adults in July

MURRIETA, CA – On Tuesday, July 12, at 5:30 p.m., professional makeup artist, Sandra Michelle Villalobos, will teach the basics of makeup and creating great summer looks. Participants are encouraged to bring their own makeup to customize their look. This program has unlimited seating and will be held in the Community Room.

On Monday, July 18, at 3:00 p.m., a chef from One Sushi & Grill will demonstrate the art of making sushi. All materials will be provided – enough for everyone to make several pieces of sushi. This program is limited to 20 adult participants and will be held in the Community Room. Free passes will be handed out in the Library’s foyer a half hour before the program begins.

These events are free and open to public and are part of the “Read for the Win!” Summer Reading Program for adults ages 18 and above and sponsored by the Friends of the Murrieta Library.
