Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Economic Development Snapshot February 2016

  • Attention Foodies - Naughty Pig opens a unique epicurean butcher shop at 25359 Madison Avenue in Murrieta.   
  • More for Foodies – The long awaited  Barons Market opens its doors on Cal Oaks Road in Murrieta
  • The Murrieta Innovation Center hosts the ExporTech, an intense training course for area companies that want to grow locally by expanding their exports.
  • Murrieta Valley High School's Virtual Enterprise Team wins California State Championship.  Congratulations MVHS.  Now onto NYC for nationals
  • The City Council approved the Kaiser Permanente Murrieta Medical Center campus.  The master plan calls for the phased construction of 825,000 square feet of new healthcare facilities, starting with the opening of a medical office building/outpatient clinic.  The project will break ground in May.
  • CarMax is under construction just south of the Murrieta Walmart.  This will be the largest CarMax in the United States (or at least west of Baltimore-Washington!)
  • Hong Kong Calling - Murrieta welcomes the highest level Hong Kong official in North America to the Murrieta Innovation Center to promote business connections between Murrieta and Hong Kong
