Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Library Offers Two Programs for Adults in February

MURRIETA, CA – Culinary expert and instructor Celine Coussou will present a cooking demonstration and tasting of Sweet French Crepes, on Tuesday, February 9, at 6:00 p.m. This very decadent treat would make a wonderful Valentine’s dessert! Limited to 20 adult participants. Ms. Coussou is the author of Cooking with Trader Joe’s Cookbook: Pack a Lunch!” as well as her own blog, “Celine’s Cuisine.” Sponsored by the Friends of the Murrieta Library.

A representative from Brandman University will present an interview skills workshop for adults on Thursday, February 11, at 3:00 p.m. This workshop will give an overview of the best techniques to give a great interview to get the job you desire. Brandman University, part of Chapman University System, is a private, nonprofit institution accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges that offers academic programs both online and at over 25 campuses throughout California and Washington.
