To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.
Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

MURRIETA, CA – The Murrieta Public Library welcomes children ages 3 to 12 to join us on April 28, 2015 at 4 p.m. for the Day of the Child event. The Library will have music and crafts for children and their families to enjoy.
Day of the Child/Day of the Book, also known as El día de los niños/El día de los libros, is a celebration of children, families, and reading and is celebrated all year long and culminates in April. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
“We’re so excited to be having our 4th celebration of Day of the Child,” said Kathryn Miller, Youth Services Assistant. “The Murrieta Library enjoys sharing some of the traditions of the Latino culture as well as celebrating this region’s rich history with the community.”
Space is limited to the first 60 children and passes will be available at 3:30 p.m.
