Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Library Offers Edible Landscaping Program

MURRIETA, CA – Master Gardener Lucy Heyming, of Riverside County Master Gardeners, will demonstrate how to combine both function and beauty within a garden on Wednesday, April 8th at 2:00 PM in the Murrieta Library’s Community Room.

Edible landscaping incorporates the use of food plants as design features. Lucy Heyming has been actively involved with the Master Gardener program since 2003. She has given numerous lectures over the years including Edible Flowers, Edible Landscaping, Container Gardening, Companion Planting, Vegetable Gardening and Attracting Beneficial Bugs to Your Garden. She is the host of the cable TV show, “Gardening with Lucy,” sponsored by the City of Riverside. Her own extensive gardens on her 5-acre residence have been featured on many garden tours since 1999.
