To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.
Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

MURRIETA, CA – Teens, are you are interested in learning safety tips, basic CPR, and first-aid techniques? A Safety: CPR & First Aid program with Murrieta Fire Department Instructor and Paramedic Art Durbin, RN, M.S.Ed. is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m. in the Murrieta Library’s Community Room. It is geared for grades 6 to 12 and advance registration is not required to attend.
“This overview will create safety awareness in teens,” states Joyce Lea Brown, Teen Services Librarian. “It will provide them with the tools necessary to keep themselves and others safe, to make smart decisions, and to learn basic first-aid techniques.” There will be time allotted for questions after the presentation.
