Library Hosts Presentation on Santa Rosa Plateau

MURRIETA, CA – Santa Rosa Plateau Interpreter Rob Hicks will share all the wonders of this special ecological reserve on Monday, September 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room.

“We are truly fortunate to be so close to this nature preserve, as the Santa Rosa Plateau has much to offer: vernal pools, historic adobe structures, oak grasslands, spring wildflowers and many hiking trails to explore,” says Librarian Laura Davis. In addition, the Plateau is home to more than 200 species of native birds and 49 endangered, threatened or rare animal and plant species. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about this local gem!

The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street). For more information about the program call 951-304-BOOK (2665) or visit the Library’s web page at www.murrietalibrary.info.
