Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Library Offers Programs for Adults in June

MURRIETA, CA – On Monday, June 16 at 4:00 p.m., artist and instructor, Jerry Bates, will demonstrate watercolor techniques and teach color and shading with the beginner in mind. All materials will be supplied. This event is limited to 25 adult participants.

On Monday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m., French culinary expert and author, Celine Cossou-Bordes of Celine’s Cuisine, will demonstrate two delicious, healthy recipes. Participants will receive samples of the prepared items. Ms. Cossou-Bordes is the author of “Cooking with Trader Joe’s Cookbook: Pack a Lunch!” This event is limited to 20 adult participants.

Free passes will be available in the Library’s foyer 30 minutes before each program begins and participants must be present to receive pass. Both programs will be held in the Library’s Community Room. An opportunity drawing for a $15 gift certificate will be offered at each program.

These events are free and open to public and are a part of the “Paws to Read!” Summer Reading Program sponsored by the Friends of the Murrieta Library.
