Book Club Continues at Library

MURRIETA, CA – Join fellow book lovers at the Murrieta Public Library on Tuesday, June 3 at 6 p.m. for the Library’s Book Club. June’s selection is “Life After Life” by Kate Atkinson, which was picked as a top 10 best novel on several notable 2013 “best” lists, including Goodreads Choice Awards and The New York Times 10 Best Books of the Year. The New York Times wrote: “Demonstrating the agile style and theatrical bravado of her much-admired Jackson Brodie mystery novels, Atkinson takes on nothing less than the evils of mid-20th-century history and the nature of death as she moves back and forth in time, fitting together versions of a life story for a heroine who keeps dying, then being resurrected — and sent off in different, but entirely plausible, directions.”

Limited copies of the book are available to check out at the Reference and Information Desk. The Book Club will meet in the Library’s Study Room C and refreshments will be served.

This program is free and open to the public. The Book Club will meet the first Tuesday of every month and participants will have the chance to meet other people in the community and participate in lively discussions and debates. The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street). For more information call 951-304-BOOK (2665) or visit the Library’s web page at
