To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.
Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

MURRIETA, CA – Maximize your ability to get hired! Students in grades 9 to 12 who are searching for a job are encouraged to attend the Want That Job? program at the Murrieta Public Library on Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. Author of Job Search: Teen Interview Tips and Strategies to Get Hired and Career Expert, Patricia Dorch, will share tips that will help you interview with confidence and market yourself to get hired. This program is free and will be held in the Library’s Community Room.
“It’s an opportunity to get an edge…to gain interviewing skills and insights to improve one’s chances of getting that job,” states Joyce Lea Brown, Teen Services Librarian. “Ms. Dorch was a speaker at a teen conference in 2011 and I was impressed with her presentation. She will be sharing valuable information and skills that will help you throughout your life.”
This event is free and open to the public and sponsored by the Friends of the Murrieta Library. The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street).
