Stop Identity Theft Program

Stop Identity Theft Program - Document On-Site Shredding Event

To help stop identity theft and as a service to our residents, the City of Murrieta City Clerk Department is hosting a FREE Document On-Site Shredding Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled to capacity. Residents may bring up to FIVE banker-sized boxes per trip, to the back parking lot of City Hall.

Items that may be included are paper documents such as legal, medical, financial, tax, bank, photos, and credit card statements (no need to remove staples or paper clips). Residents may also bring credit cards and CDs. No businesses please.

Library to Host Holiday Make-Up Demonstration Workshop

MURRIETA, CA – MURRIETA, CA – Women ages 16 and up are invited to a one-hour make-up demonstration workshop on Saturday, December 7th at 1:30 PM in the Library’s Community Room.

Personal image coach and make-up artist Lauri Morris will demonstrate cosmetic tips and color schemes that are perfect for the travel and holiday season. Several members of the audience will receive “hands-on” demonstrations.

Ms. Morris has over 15 years of experience as a certified make-up artist and consultant. She has done everything from television to theater to pageants with a special focus on self-image enhancement.

This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Friends of the Murrieta Library. The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street).
