Probationer high on heroin and methamphetamine arrested for residential burglary

On 09/28/12 at approximately 0634 hours a female teenager living at a residence located on the 35800 block of Abelia Street, discovered a white male inside the residence’s garage rummaging through a parked vehicle.   The suspect stole property within the victim’s vehicle and fled on foot.  Officers arrived on scene and set up a large containment.  At approximately 0650 hours, a Greer Ranch resident informed officers a suspicious male was walking on Abelia Road towards Horsetail Street.   MPD officers located a male matching the suspect’s description.

The victim was brought to the scene and positively identified the suspect.  Officers searched the area and located stolen items strewn about several front lawns.  The suspect was identified as Lake Elsinore resident Davis Flournoy.  A records check showed Flournoy had an outstanding no bail probation violation warrant.  Flournoy was also under the influence of a central nervous stimulant drug and a central nervous depressant drug. Flournoy was arrested without incident and transported to the Southwest Detention Facility.

Flournoy drove a green 2000 Nissan Xtera to visit a friend in Greer Ranch last night at around midnight.   Officers were unable to locate the Xtera. It is possible Flournoy was accompanied by another male.  Please notify the Murrieta Police Department at 696-3615 if you have any information regarding this case.
