On Saturday – June 30th, 2012 at 1020 hours, Murrieta police officers were dispatched to the 24000 block of Cambria Lane, Murrieta to assist the Murrieta Fire Department. The Murrieta Fire Department had been dispatched to this residence in regards to a 3-year-old male child who had allegedly ingested a relatives’ “medical marijuana” stash and was now unresponsive.
The child was treated at the scene and ultimately transported to a local area hospital for further medical treatment. The Riverside County Child Protective Services were contacted and responded to assist. This investigation is on-going.
