Holiday Toy and Food Drive


The City of Murrieta’s annual toy and food drive is seeking donations of non-perishable food and new, unwrapped toys and gift cards to assist local families in need this holiday season. In addition to Santa picking up fooHoliday Magic - Holiday toy and Food Drive 2 - Copyd and toys at his neighborhood stops, you can drop off food and/or toy donations to any of the following locations beginning November 25 through December 20:

  • Murrieta Community Center – 41810 Juniper Street
  • Murrieta Senior Center – 5 Town Square
  • Any of the five Murrieta fire stations
  • Murrieta Police Department – 2 Town Square
  • Murrieta City Hall – 1 Town Square

Saturday, December 7 at approximately 9:00 AM, Santa will be at Town Square Park to enjoy donuts and juice with his fans. A holiday craft will also be available.Space is limited to the first 500 children. Register at www.tinyurl.com/morning-donuts-with-santa. Please note this is a "free" event however, please bring a can of food or unwrapped toy for the toy/food drive.

Hometown Holiday Children's Parade

Hometown Holiday Childrenโ€™s Parade
Saturday, December 7, a non-motorized holiday parade will be making its way from Washington Ave/B Street, down B Street and into Town Square Park. 

Parade steps off at 5 p.m. We invite entries of scooters, horses, bicycles, strollers, wagons, battery-powered golf carts and walking groups to join us for this quaint festive parade! Enter by registering here. Click the image to view the flyer.

Festival of Trees

Festival of Trees Opens in new window
This year the City of Murrieta will host the Festival of Trees and City Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Town Square Park. Join us for an evening filled with holiday charm. 

Full-size decorated, themed trees will line the park, all of which will be donated to families in need after the event. Country Christmas music, along with seasonal fun, carriage rides , photos with Santa, vendors and more! The City Tree will be lit as the parade concludes. Click the image to view the flyer.

Santa Sightings


Santa will be at various locations throughout the city to visit the children of Murrieta between December 9 and December 18. Santa Holiday Magic - Santa - Hi - Copywill be on his sleigh collecting canned food and toys for needy kids in the area.
